Pros

- Convenient downtown SF location - Speedy and pleasant interview process - Flexible WFH & PTO policy + decent work/life balance

Cons

Everything else. Soul-sucking place to work. This is not an exhaustive list: - Complete lack of regard for employee wellbeing: no effort put into company culture/team-building events (some offices were even “punished” with holiday parties being taken away), people and HR teams lack empathy/compassion and don’t follow through on employee feedback/complaints, no 401k match. - Abrupt COVID layoffs with no severance, after the CEO deceitfully led an all-hands meeting reassuring everyone of the health of the company/security of jobs. - No real performance plans/annual reviews in place, no fair path of growth (some rewarded more than others due to favoritism), and biased “performance-based” firings of people with no prior warning about performance. - Company truly does not care about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Could count the # of black people in the entire company barely on two hands (out of 1k employees worldwide), while other POC representation is extremely low. It’s a lot of willfully ignorant and performative white people spewing microaggressions on a regular basis and thinking that having women in leadership positions means diversity. Once asked the company about their DEI initiatives and they lied about a pre-existing employee committee with a corresponding internal slack channel...I joined the slack channel only to see that it had been created THAT SAME DAY. - CEO is an immature micromanager who doesn’t trust anyone to do their jobs, and encourages people to “do whatever it takes” even in the realm of harmful, immoral, and potentially non-compliant; he’s always in a "bad mood", and enables bad actors to continue circumventing processes (or lack thereof) to make shady and arbitrary decisions that protect their own interests. - Executives (including the CEO) have toxic and inappropriate relationships with each other, and often complain to their reports about it/how things will never change. Lower than low company-wide morale, felt like every man/woman for themselves with no accountability. - Terrible, all-over-the-place leadership with poor communication skills; often wasted days on projects that were never reviewed/used, or was often blindsided when manager decided to take something over with no explanation. - Under-resourced and under-staffed in several departments crucial to the company’s success; those departments were often blamed for “underperforming” rather than given the necessary resources to do productive work. - Extremely stingy (beyond a necessary level) to the detriment of hiring/retaining top talent, team productivity, company culture, and employee wellbeing

Pros

-The AI-First Mission is Real- We aren’t just talking about artificial intelligence; we are actively executing an AI-first transformation across our entire product and internal operating models. It’s an incredibly exciting, fast-paced space for anyone looking to build the future of enterprise software. -What makes this company truly special is our foundation: we have a deep, proven contact center history, but we’ve successfully paired that legacy with the right product architecture and the right people to dominate the AI future. It feels like today we have the right people on board to execute. - Innovative mindset- We don't have everything figured out today. Employees are encouraged to think outside of the box and move fast to try new things and surface solutions.

Cons

-High-Pressure, Agile Environment: Because we scale on consumption and automation rather than simple headcount, the bar for talent density here is exceptionally high. Things move FAST. If you prefer a slow, highly structured, or static environment, this level of rapid iteration might feel overwhelming - TD doesn't have everything figured out. You have to be OK building as you go, and not always having clear direction.
