Terrible place to work - I was here for over 2 years before being laid off. I was not laid off due to performance reasons, and wasn't given a good reason other than "layoffs are affecting the company" (however they kept on underperformers, and laid off mostly women and people the VP didn't particularly like).
The management at Tandym somehow manages to be both overbearing and micromanaging, and yet totally unhelpful when you actually need assistance or advice. There is no positive feedback, I was a top performer for the majority of the time I was there, only slaps on the wrist for disobeying procedures that you weren't ever told about, that overall don't impact the business.
The team is unprofessional and everything is an ego trip, I have never worked for a company that seems to prioritize the feelings of individual team members over doing what's best for business and what's equitable.
The worst of all came after being laid off. Tandym was completely unhelpful with anything having to do with the aftermath, and incorrectly communicated important information about health insurance and FSA benefits which later negatively impacted me. They also incorrectly reported my wages to the dept of unemployment, making me unable to collect unemployment. It's been several months, and due to Tandym's negligence I have not been able to collect the money from unemployment that I paid into, and that they were supposed to pay into.
They did not offer severance unless you signed a very restrictive noncompete, nonsolicit, and mutual arbitration clause (waiving your rights to take them to court), and even then, the severance was only a few weeks.
I have been in the staffing industry for several years, having worked for large, publicly traded companies, down to 5 person companies, and Tandym is somehow the worst across the board. Every day coming into work felt like a battle with upper management. The work culture is toxic, the VP's are incompetent, and high performers are punished and pushed to be generalists to even the playing field for underperformers.
