Pros

Most of the recruiters and sales team are fantastic humans.

Cons

Tandym changed their ATS system this summer - the geniuses at the top clearly never asked any recruiters or sales people who would be utilizing the system the most to test out the new platform, and they actually delayed the roll out because they were so disorganized. They chose an off shore provider for our ATS, which created a big problem (language was different, process was completely changed, candidates applying to jobs were in no-man’s-land (sorry if you applied and no one reached out!)). The tech professionals from the new system were as helpful as possible, but on multiple occasions confided that the changes Tandym was trying to implement in their system were not compatible. Obviously there is an adjustment with any new system, but the lack of resources was crazy. They released the “best practices” months after the roll out, and were constantly changing said “best practices” because they were clearly learning the system simultaneously alongside recruiters/sales. Tandym’s tech support team is awful from the top down - they all have terrible attitudes and would be visibly annoyed when someone had any questions on the brand new system. On multiple occasions the individuals who were intended to help would roll their eyes and audibly sigh. They are awful, awful, awful people! The person creating best practices is a sweet man but he clearly did not know our processes well enough (or at all) to be creating these guidelines. We are routinely paid wrong; commissions not paid out on time or accurately. I actually started to expect my commissions to be incorrect. Always underpaid but would eventually remedy it (weeks later). CFO is the biggest moron of them all - his team did not withhold enough (actually only half) for everyone in the company and everyone owed $$$$$ come tax season. Byrne in his infinite wisdom got up and said, “well you all should have realized this,” and did not hold anyone accountable. ELT is a boys club of gross incompetence. They are truly male chauvinists and borderline misogynistic at times (senior male directors asking women coworkers to get their lunch). There was a complete lack of transparency for the organizations goals, and the ELT created a culture of distrust. Middle managers who bring in $0 in revenue (because they have zero people skills so that checks out) took over entire groups and were terrible leaders. Weirdly, they changed everyone’s group into “pods” and named them all military-lingo…. “Alpha, Bravo, Delta”. No one at this company in leadership served - just a bunch of dudes who love stolen valor. To finish, there are senior directors (men) who would hook up with summer interns (young girls). We work in a city of 8 million people, and they would hook up with their interns.
