Pros
Working in the front-end at a constantly busy location, you get to be in a fast-paced environment & interact with your co-workers more and make amazing friendships as you trauma bond through processing returns, delivering drive-up orders, in-store order pickups, oh and doing drive-up Starbucks orders & returns which was their latest thing. You also gotta play undercover police and protect their assets even though they have no interest in protecting you
Cons
You get to do all of the above whilst being cussed out by guests at the service desk and drive-up in 100 degree weather in the dead of summer with no water, Gatorade, or working a/c. Oh and don’t forget to smile! Your managers will also cuss you out if you anger a guest even if you had no control. It’s only gone downhill since they retracted DEI from their brands and staff. Turnover rate is even higher since I left.
