Pros

not many pros anymore working for Target

Cons

Pay isn’t competitive in this market Salary is for 40 hours a week but realistically they have you work 60-70 if you are a GM. Operational efficiency expectations within the company are so far off ETLS have to work at least 60 hours a week to come clean. Some peers work up to 80 hours a week to make it. Interviewed by DSD & HRBP stating bonuses will be $7-$9,000 and they are $1,200 at most Interviewed by DSD & HRBP that your yearly raises are around $5-$7,000 and you get $1,500 at most. First assignments are usually in red operation stores (most stores are all red in operations) If you are good to clean up a store they stall letting your career grow due to lack of talent to replace you and lack of leadership capacity to recruit or develop new talent. Accountability & expectations across store to store, district to district , group to group are all different. Each DSD & GVP has their own vision they want to test in stores which isn’t consistent with HQ operations.
