Pros

Target is a great company to work for. Most companies talk about how they care about their employees, Target truly means it. During Hurricane Mathew most stores closed for a day or two. Team Members were paid for their scheduled time on those days! Pay and benefits are well above average within the industry. Leaders are well trained and do a good job at interacting, motivating, and coaching. I feel like I'm part of a big family.

Cons

As with any job in customer satisfaction and retail, working non-traditional hours sometimes causes family issues. Some training is redundant and takes Team Members off the floor to learn something they already learned during a recent training task.

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
