Pros
Very flexible and sympathetic leadership. Tech people get a lot of trust and autonomy.
Cons
Low hours, physically intensive work. There’s usually only one Tech person working at a time, so that person has to do EVERYTHING. COVID cases are still somewhat frequent, and you can’t always rely on your coworkers to get stuff done or even show up. Tech is a bit of a dead end; there’s no direct supervision which means no upward mobility without transferring to another department.
