Pros
Great company culture (team is for the most part friendly, and helpful). Management is approachable. Benefits are decent. Employee discount.
Cons
• Annual raises are ~2.5% for sales floor workers. Well below inflation. This doesn't provide enough incentive to motivate staff to work harder/smarter. Someone new off the street earns a few cents less than someone who's been there for years. This leads to employees putting in the bare minimum to keep their job. • There isn't a clear cut path to climb the corporate ladder. • Also, perhaps the nature of retail, there's quite a high turnover of staff. • Training material is embellished with leftist ideals.
