Pros

My job was about as laid back as any job you could hope to get. It was pretty good in most departments. Home life balance was ok at best. My department manager was a decent person as best I could tell, always willing to work with employees under his watch. Most department managers and leads seemed fair enough with workplace policies, enforcement of them and attention to detail. Middle management overall was "Very Good".

Cons

Upper management "Not Good" No proper yearly raise, if you actually do your job then you are doing more than everybody else and being paid less or the same as someone not correctly even trying to do their job. When I quit, I was still making less per hour than newly hired operators. It took over 5 years to get a raise and still had to finish somebody else's work, or jump right into a train wreck immediately at the start of my shift. And still to this day the engineers and data anal ists are dumping more work on the employees so they can leave early every day and order expensive takeout for lunch daily. We were also being governed by union employees while, we had not been offered union eligibility and threatened with termination for even mentioning the word union. The pay allows for no life if you want to do something like: Go see a movie with your family on a weekend or take them to a nice restaurant to eat. Living paycheck to paycheck is not for me. I need money that's why I was there. I guess my dedication was not appreciated. Maybe it will be now.
