Pros

There are not many, the one worth mentioning is the work from home experience. Except even when hired on for work from home @ $15 an hour they delivered $14 for the first 6 months of employment due to recruiting errors had to get HR involved and everything. After that was told the position will no longer be a work from home position. And that the office to return to was one an hour away from where I live. The whole experience has been a disaster even though the "Training" was poorly executed and did not prepare anyone for the job at hand. The only positive is the TL I got was a pretty cool person who handled his team well. Other than that would not recommend and will not work there again.

Cons

There are tons!! Just read the "Pros list" above it explains it well enough. Not to mention the insane amount of IT issues!

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
