Pros

I worked with the company for almost 4 years, and the learning and technical growth were good. Exposure to multiple development projects helped strengthen hands-on skills and problem-solving abilities. Most colleagues are supportive, skilled, and knowledgeable, which creates a good learning environment. The Support and CS teams are well managed, and the managers in these teams are generally helpful and approachable. If you are working under a supportive manager, the company can be a great place to grow technically and professionally.

Cons

At times, work pressure becomes very high, especially in development projects with tight timelines. Management experience can vary significantly depending on the manager. Some managers tend to micromanage heavily, including frequent hourly check-ins, which can create unnecessary stress and impact productivity. During the notice period, the approach from certain managers can feel unsupportive, making the transition period difficult. You will be enemy for them even you have work lots of other projects. If assigned under a highly micromanaging manager, the work-life balance and overall experience can be challenging. In development projects Manager can call you after working hours any time. HR management will also not help if you talk to them regarding micromanagement or managers behaviour. Or if you want to change your project. They will just schedule a call with you for the shake of action nothing else.

Pros

Some good people/employees. Hybrid work.

Cons

Lack of diversity. There has never been a female on the homogenous executive team, with most members of the executive team having been with Tavant for 10+ yrs in that role. Commission - Never paid. Management uses "Management discretion" to keep your sales commission down so they (the division president) can allot more of that bonus pool to themselves. It used to be more fun at Tavant, events were engaging, but that all ended when the marketing guy left. New person is a bland in terms of how Tavant was selling its offerings. Great place to sit around and work. No upward mobility. Maybe would have upward mobility if you moved to the big office in Bangalore
