Pros

I have been in this company for nearly 4 years, and have risen through the ranks, its very disheartening to see some of the comments written here abt the company in which I work, it seems more from disgruntled employees or for some the grapes are sour. Just venting out your ire doesn't help. I am not saying Tavant is the best company, but it definitely is not a mediocre or the way some of them have written. So here are the Pros: 1. Nice working environment 2. very open culture ( am surprised people are venting out anger here, whereas Tavant has open culture, open door policy & open house for readdressal of issues) 3. Flexible timings 4. Work is good, majorily development projects & work and i think less then 5% is maintenance support 5. Lots of Fun culture, nearly twice a year they have awards ceremony Its the right company for learning.

Cons

1. Its demanding at time, specially during releases. Late hours, this does effect the work life balance. 2. Coping with new technologies. They expect a lot from the engineers, very little support sometimes, so if you are not really smart or willing to take challenging job, it could get you de-motivated. 3. Appraisal system is just about OK. 4. Salaries are OK , hikes and bonus once a year 5. Have to be in Office before 11:00 AM, else half day is deducted.

Good exposure to the workforce, leadership is very accommodating and supportive.lots of opportunities to showcase your abilities at organizational level

Some good people/employees. Hybrid work.

Cons

Lack of diversity. There has never been a female on the homogenous executive team, with most members of the executive team having been with Tavant for 10+ yrs in that role. Commission - Never paid. Management uses "Management discretion" to keep your sales commission down so they (the division president) can allot more of that bonus pool to themselves. It used to be more fun at Tavant, events were engaging, but that all ended when the marketing guy left. New person is a bland in terms of how Tavant was selling its offerings. Great place to sit around and work. No upward mobility. Maybe would have upward mobility if you moved to the big office in Bangalore
