Pros

* projects are good * technologies using are good * area is centrally located * food, facilities, events and frequent outings are good.

Cons

* Lot of politics in Management, If you are good with your manager, you get good ratings. Otherwise, even if you put in all your effort it goes unnoticed and they give you bad rating and very bad reasons for that during every appraisal. And to add to this, they are lingual - if you are of same language as of manager it would help you. * Timings - compulsion of staying in office for more than 8.50 hrs every day is not right. HR will tell we should maintain avg 8.5hrs/day by end of the month. But managers put this up in appraisal time and tell you are not punctual, even though you might have worked for 12hrs some days. * We were around approx. 500 people in Bangalore office, but they don't have a unified process across the company for anything. Every manager has their own process. It all depends on which manager you are under during final appraisal.Though you got good ratings in half year appraisals, if you fall under one of those managers, you might not get any appraisal at all. Believe me I faced this problem many times in my tenure.

Pros

Some good people/employees. Hybrid work.

Cons

Lack of diversity. There has never been a female on the homogenous executive team, with most members of the executive team having been with Tavant for 10+ yrs in that role. Commission - Never paid. Management uses "Management discretion" to keep your sales commission down so they (the division president) can allot more of that bonus pool to themselves. It used to be more fun at Tavant, events were engaging, but that all ended when the marketing guy left. New person is a bland in terms of how Tavant was selling its offerings. Great place to sit around and work. No upward mobility. Maybe would have upward mobility if you moved to the big office in Bangalore
