Pros

small-business feel, customer centered, atmosphere is nice to work in, fellow employees were generally good people, would recommend for seasonal jobs

Cons

Overworked in busy season, has no concept of personal tragedy, hires people "full time" to get around paying overtime for what ends up being a seasonal position.

Worked in my home office, good pay, opportunity to be placed on permanently if desired and selected. The supervisors were very supportive!

Cons

Some customers would place blame on agent for their tax mistakes (TaxSlayer is a self-prep software) and would yell over the phone, creating unnecessary stress.
