Pros

TaxSlayer is a friendly environment. The management works with you on scheduling and there's PTO for full time employees. The community feeling is more familial than other jobs I've worked. Benefits are good.

Cons

Depending on which department you're in, it can be stressful during tax season (Nov-April). Benefits take up to a year of employment to kick in.

Pros

Worked in my home office, good pay, opportunity to be placed on permanently if desired and selected. The supervisors were very supportive!

Cons

Some customers would place blame on agent for their tax mistakes (TaxSlayer is a self-prep software) and would yell over the phone, creating unnecessary stress.
