Pros

The atmosphere that I get to work in is second to none. Our upper management team is smart, they care about the employees as well as the customers. They allow us to do the right thing.

Cons

Deadlines and commitments are difficult at the end of the year. That is just the business we are in but it truly is the only bad thing.

Fantastic culture, experienced team members, fun place to work, even in a down market.

Total compensation can be better, change of insurance not great, unable to use all PTO due to work schedule.

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
