Pros

Taylor Morrison is a company that truly cares about you as a person just as much as they care about how you do your job. You are provided with any and all training you would need to be successful at whatever your position. You are also welcomed with open arms as soon as you walk in the door on day 1 of your employment. I have never worked for a company that goes so far above and beyond to make you realize that you truly are a part of an amazing family. The opportunity to advance is at every position and you are encouraged, in a very positive way, to work towards that. The environment here makes you want to be the best you can be and position yourself to move up within the company.

Cons

Bottom line, there are none. Like I said earlier, this truly is the best run company that I have ever worked for. And I've work for quite a few. I've been with the company and there isn't a single thing that I would change about my experience so far. There truly is a reason why there are employees who have been with the company for over 30 years and you start realizing the reasons why as soon as you start working.

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
