      Pros

      Taylor Morrison encourages team members to take control of their career development. I have found that my direct manager and those I have worked with have always provided me with the support and opportunities to grow.

      Cons

      The biggest challenge at Taylor Morrison is working with working with some of the systems such as Newstar. We spend a lot of time trying to find ways to work with the different systems and their constraints in order to make it work for the needs of the business.

      Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
