Pros

The people at Taylor Morrison are very friendly and extremely helpful. During the interview process they really just wanted to get to know the kind of person you are and if you are willing to be a team player. They were very interested in my career path and my learning style to see if the company would be a good fit.

Cons

As in any interview, during the in person interview I met with and chatted with 4-5 individuals at different times. This could be draining on any potential candidate, but they were very understanding and also checking to see if I needed to take a break or get some water during the process. So the staff at Taylor Morrison managed to take a negative and turn it into a positive because they truly care about the people.

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
