      Pros

      Great management team that empowers their employees to perform their job responsibilities by allowing them to make decisions. No micro-management here! They are also very flexible and understanding with personal/family commitments that may need to be attended to during normal business hours.

      Typical of working for a publicly traded company.

      Good benefits and decent pay

      Cons

      Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
