Pros

The people are engaged, talented and fun, it's a winning culture that puts it's people at the top of the priority list, and the communities and homes we build are something to be truly proud of. It is a privilege to serve our customers everyday in a culture of "do the right thing". Sky's the limit with opportunity, it is a meritocracy here.

Cons

It is an ever changing/growing environment. If you are resistant to change this may not be the culture fit for you. If you like to see things progress and challenge status quo then this is the right place for you.

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
