Pros

Very fortunate to work for a company that puts people first. While it is a work hard play hard culture, it feels like I am working with friends/family everyday. It is a laid back and welcoming team and the leaders are always willing to take the time to expose me to new practices and procedures. Opportunities for advancement are always available as well.

Cons

We are working to get a better work life balance back to our teams but still have a ways to go in some divisions.

Pros

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
