Pros

Great perks: week of Christmas is a paid holiday, get several floating holidays, department team building trips for employee & family, kitchen stocked with variety of snacks, somewhatvopen to flex hours.

Cons

Management expects employees to work OT, management direction is confusing as it changes weekly, management doesn't often like to roll sleeves up to try to understand software to better understand deficiencies. They have no idea how long it takes to process work flow but expects it at the press of a button. No one seems accountable for actions and the ones that should get recognized for going the extra mile seldom do. Timelines are too short for workflow expectations, leaving departments behind the eightball. It is impossible to be caught up and most people feel like they are set up to fail even before they start a project. The results are lack of quality workmanship and a lot of money they could have been saved. It is easy to work 60+ hours a week.

Cons

Total compensation can be better, change of insurance not great, unable to use all PTO due to work schedule.

Pros

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
