Pros

It was wonderful to help families and establish lifelong relationships. It also empowered me to help someone else and provide them with the tools to get the tools necessary to be successful and have meaningful lives.

Cons

The negative aspect of the job was it was a hostile environment. Plus they always put the cart before the horse. I just am not into giving anyone negative feedback. They always preached stand up and speak up but in actuality, it was sit down and shut up

Loved the interactions with the families and children. I stayed busy.

Cons

A lot of micromanaging. I thankfully didn’t experience this myself but noticed it among others.
