Pros
I joined the company as part of the VSI acquisition in 2017. There have been significant improvements in the company with the new management philosophy. The quality system has improved dramatically. The culture is collaborative, and there is a strong team dynamic toward solving problems from the root cause upward. The leaders in most functions know their areas well and are reliable and recognize and reward contributions. For the parent company, this is one of their most advanced sites, and they want to make it a showcase. The recent moves into providing therapeutic devices instead of just access devices is a welcome move up the value chain.
Cons
There are still some land mines scattered in legacy products. A lot of re-engineering has been necessary over the past year to address some of these, but many of these projects are nearing completion.
