Pros

Benefits, 403(b) match... Temple gave 8.5% to my retirement and all i had to give was 4.5%. we were given the best technology with which to work. the working conditions were good and almost everyone in my area had there own office. there were no cublicles - which is very good.

Cons

poor supervisors and managers; promotion based on favortism

Pros

Beautiful, clean, and conveniently located campus. Great food trucks! Lots of space to go for a walk and clear your head or sit on a bench and look at some trees. Nice benefits.

Cons

Temple is very large and very siloed, so if you work in one department, don't expect to be able to move more easily to another part of the school than you would if you were just a random unknown applicant. Once you start working it will be clear which people there genuinely care about the school and passionately work to make it better, and which once just clock in and clock out and won't do a single thing that's not listed in their official job description. But that's bureaucracy for you!
