We’re disappointed to hear you feel like you’re “walking on eggshells” and that management doesn’t listen to advice. When you write, “It’s a job, not much else” we can feel your disappointment as well. No one wants to settle for a job when they can have a career and right now it seems you’re unhappy and perhaps feeling stuck. One of the reasons our organization is flat is so that information, good and bad, can travel quickly to whoever needs to hear it. With that in mind, I’d encourage you to bypass whichever individual you have talked to previously and reach out to any team lead (in any department), anyone in People Ops or Tim Crawford to express your concerns. I assure you they want to hear your story and understand your circumstances. Together we’ll explore the options before us. Even if you’re convinced Tenstreet isn’t a fit for you we’re committed to putting together a plan that will take care of you. We’re far from perfect, but we certainly work hard to take great care of our team.
