Pros
Company car, competitive wages. Field operational partners are great.
Cons
Disconnected executive leadership team; HR executives are not in tune with the needs of its field staff; promotions are bases solely on favoritism; inferior quality of corporate HR team members. I was at TMX for about 3 years. I value the relationships I established with my operational business partners but the morale of the HR department itself was extremely low. Decisions were made in a vacuum, field HR team members were treated were not treated with respect although we did most of the grunt work cascaded by corporate, and the key HR leaders made decisions based on who they did and did not like. Travel expectations are ridiculous. It went from 50% to 75 % with territories as large as 30 branches per HR Manager.
