Cons
Soul crushing, negative, super stressful work environment. You will have 37 bosses reaching into your branch and demanding your immediate attention, be it safety, technical, corporate, region, division, or human resources to name a few. This leaves little time remaining for, you know, running a pest control operation. Just about all the good managers are thinking about leaving because the culture has become so toxic. Upper management says "x, y, z, have to happen" but then don't give managers the time to actually do them so there are a lot of pencil whipped reports. It's CYA for the upper managers..... "we TOLD them to do this..." and the mid managers pay the price. If anyone at corporate actually thinks all these vehicle inspections and tech ride along reports are being completed they are delusional. Then when you bring this up they blame your lack of time management. What a joke. ATTN UPPER MANAGEMENT ESPECIALLY LARRY PRUITT. this company is not what it used to be... you know it, and the changes have not been for the positive. Yes revenues are growing but only because CD&R are squeezing the life out of your people. You will continue to lose good people like me until you wake up and put the focus back on your customers and your employees. If you keep pulling us away from the field with erroneous report after report and continue to motivate through fear this company will be in shambles before they are done with you. No work life balance.... 70 hours a week in January, absolutely no compassion for things outside our control, no kindness, political games.... I could go on for hours.
