Pros
Prior to Covid this was an enjoyable company to work for. The people that I worked with were wonderful people.
Cons
When the Investment Company sold off Service Master and decided to send all of their office based Admins and CSR’s home, that is when the employees became nothing but Cattle. Each CSR was expected to take call after call with 9 seconds between each call. If you had to use the bathroom or anything that took you off the phones other than break time, you would get marks against you. Then write ups. Now imagine if you have IBS or something. Also, this company is not AMA friendly. The company hand picked a DEI Group to examine the companies policies, procedures and get an idea of the diversity and inclusion that they thought they had. The company was in for a rude awakening. Terminix has always been a boy’s club and it isn’t easy for a woman to become a service manager or branch manager. BUT the real issue of diversity and inclusion wasn’t just women, it was much deeper than that. So Terminix disbanded the DEI because it would be too costly and time consuming to fix any issues. Training is very basic and not taught the same be each trainer. Work life balance for techs, outside sales, service managers on up is non existent and the company does not care. The pay scales have been reworked to sound fantastic but in reality, they just find new ways to pay you less in the long run. Sound like a company you want to work for??? I doubt it.
