Pros
There is a lot of growth and the work product is in high demand so for self-driven people who find opportunity in change and like to be busy - it is a very rewarding place to work. I love how each day brings something different and how devoted the leadership is to cultural events to help defuse the stress for those who choose to participate. For the most part, the colleagues here are very passionate and collaborative which is refreshing after coming from a place where "that's not my job" was a common phrase used. Another positive is that with all the growth, there are new opportunities for career progression and professional development. They offer all kinds of new courses and learning opportunities in-house (as well as tuition reimbursement) which is unusual for a business of this size. The leadership is accessible and very invested in receiving feedback (including making thoughtful changes when they see red flags). I saw some complaints on Glassdoor, but have not experienced a lack of engagement - it's a small business growing rapidly so perhaps they are less able to be engaged than they were previously, but they still do make it evident that they care and they will always take a meeting or have an on the spot conversation with a concerned colleague. They just released casual all the time - meaning we can dress down if our job allows. This is awesome and reflects the culture. The community service commitment here is also amazing. They offer paid time to donate ones time, opportunities to serve such as Meals on Wheels deliveries, and colleagues support each other when they are in need. After Irma, the colleagues raised a ton of money to help their peers who had damage to their homes.
Cons
The atmosphere here is very unique and requires a certain personality type to thrive. There can be tension between the go getters and those who are just getting through the day. It does not seem to be a positive place to work for those who are just grinding - but I've seen that everywhere I've worked so I do not think this is specific to here.
