Pros

Free Beer, Looks good on resumé.

Cons

The culture at Boston Beer does not reflect the principles that they promote. Employees are expected to take on more than what is listed in their job role without compensation, or having the ability to ask why even though these additional tasks directly effect them. Middle management does not aid its lower level employees, but shields them from potential opportunities to further career. HR ignores any criticism from lower level employees about middle management practices. If you are looking for transparent business practices like insight into upper managements business decisions, or to be able to work in an atmosphere that is communicative, not unresponsive this is not the company for you. The turn over rate of employees has sky-rocketed throughout the past year and can be expected to continue in this manner due to low moral. It is common place to see employees crying in the hallways, and whispering about unfair treatment.
