Pros
I enjoyed talking to customers and helping them feel/look good. I was able to not be the "pushy" Buckle stereotype. You get 40% off anything that you buy!
Cons
You are not paid enough. You have to sell $100 per hour just to make minimum wage; in a college town, selling that much can sometimes be difficult, They also want you to be pushy. They try to get you to always push to most expensive brands, even to people who clearly cannot afford them. You a urged to sell a lot, not just in dollar amount, but in quantity. When you don't, your weekly sales report looks bad and they reprimand you. Also, everything you wear to work must be from the Buckle. Good-bye whatever paycheck you even earned! And they frown upon you shopping at other Buckle stores to get your discount. Also, my particular manager was not a good one.
