Pros
-reasonable work/life balance...if you really meant it when you ask for your time off -great work atmosphere at the right store/for the right manager -opportunities are endless for growth in the company - they invest time in your growth as an employee -when they say culture, THEY MEAN IT and its something that if you buy into it (literally and figuratively) its truly great to be part of.
Cons
-they say competitive pay- not true. If you are an absolute shark on the sales floor you can make some good money but if you are in any type of management position its considered YOUR duty to help others with their sales and take yours to the back burner. - management for stores changes A LOT and your success of failure relies heavily on the type of manager you have. Some are there for all the right reasons, most are there for the pay check and don't really know what they are doing. -as a side effect from the above, you will find yourself picking up a lot of the slack in the store - they will stand by you as long as you play by their rules, learn them carefully inside and out. both for the sales and the overall workings of the company. And not just the managers rules, the actual Buckle rules.
