Pros

Cons
I can only speak for myself but to go through so many checks to get the job physical, TB test, Drug Test, Fingerprint check no one should have to be treated so poorly. I started training 05/16 and went my second day 5/17. I had a hectic morning with some unplannned family situations. I called person that was training us. I advised her I would be 5-10 mins late. I asked if it would be okay to still come while in route or return home. I advised her my family issue. She said okay no problem. We will talk after class. As I enter the building another young later was late as well and she went to the restroom. After going to class shortly another young lady was an hour late. So she said she will just talk to us all briefly after class. No problem. When I get back from lunch I am being told that the someone wanted to see me in her office. I say wow that does not sound like a good thing. She said no usually it isnt and to bring my things with me. On our way there I say to her humph this is kind of strange. She said yeah when they request to see someone she never asks the reason why. I get to the office waiting about 20 mins to be seen. After the lady comes out she takes me in the room we were in the first day and says say we dont tolerate bad attendance and that I was no longer alllowed to finish training or work there. I Said there were two other women late along with me even later, and that I felt it was personal. I also told her I called in advance and was advised to still come. She said if i felt like it was personal I can apply within their company again just not in that building. I am thinking like wow if thats not discrimination I dont know what is. Then she says it wasn't the trainers place to tell me not to come in , however I definitely would not have mind being transferred to a higher up to ask because I live so far away on public transportation. I found out from the other co workers that the other young ladies are still in training. Still allowed to work there when I have done nothing to no one. Its sad that people have personal motives or hate and no mothing about you. For the trainer to know the entire time what she had done while walking me to the office , Wow. Especially from a someone that is training you there is a certain manner of professionalism that should be held. I tried to call an attorney and was advised it is no case because its not about sex or religion etc. But I want other people to be aware of this so that they can be prepared. I felt hurt and very mistreated. I am now looking for other employment.
