Pros

About 3 1/2 weeks of PTO that you can earn as you work Opportunities to work from home

Cons

Call center rules are very strict, not much flexibility. If you miss work (call in) or have an emergency, you are penalized as an employee (even though you are given PTO). You won't be able to help customers as much as you'd like to. Lots of plan/policy restrictions. Don't pick this job if you have a soft spot for people in need. You may not be able to help them the way you want to.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
