Pros
-You spend most of your time sitting watching the game so it’s not hard physically -You get to meet lots of different people and are encouraged to make their experience special -Your fellow workers are often very fun to be around -Very rarely ever deal with an angry customer, everyone is excited to be there -Clear outlined day to day expectations, you’ll never feel lost as to what needs to be done
Cons
-Operations demands cutting people from shifts all the time and running incredibly lean shifts, often requiring people to run multiple games at once. -Lots of favoritism, management and ops will decide who gets hours based on who they like and perceive as being bought in. -No criticism is allowed, even trying to pitch in something that will help is taken as being negative. They have cameras in every room they will tune into and see if everyone is saying anything they don’t approve of. -Poor pay unless you are a GM or above (which will require you to move to a different city)
