Pros
- generally nice work environment: management works hard to do right by you (with some significant exceptions, however), very team-oriented - LGBTQIA+ friendly - meet some of the coolest coworkers you’ll ever have - chill in comparison to other entry-level customer service jobs - heavily encouraged to find creative ways to make a guest’s day - overall fun, unique, good place to build empathy skills
Cons
- lower pay than other entertainment jobs, with no opportunities for raises without changing your role - raises for roles are small (50 cents if you become a GES, 50 more cents if you become a TL) - night shifts can go as late as 2AM - they base how many hours/shifts you’re scheduled for on your KPI score - aforementioned KPI score also determines upward mobility within the company; you can be a perfect fit for GES, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t have a high enough score over the span of 6 months
