Pros
- Clear Mission, Vision, and Values - High expectations - Graciousness in mistakes from my leaders - Your main job is making relationships with people - You are there to make sure someone has fun - The days go by quickly - Growth is quick If you're the type of person that likes working in customer service & hospitality, likes problem-solving, working with others, and appreciates high standards based around a company and not a person/team, you will want to grow at this company.
Cons
- The culture can go south quickly - Managers will work 45-60 hours/week, while other full-time team members will work as low as 25 hours/week - Work/life balance can be bad, but it has gone through improvement - Deep cleaning, sometimes vomit, blood, and other bodily nastiness Despite what you may think, this is not a chill job. If you are looking for something where you can hang out with your co workers and relax, you will be frustrated by the amount of work when not running games. While this job looks like a chill place on the surface, your managers expect a lot from you, and that is either really rewarding or really overbearing.
