Pros
GEO Group provides excellent opportunities for advancement. Also, since GEO Group is an international company, you can transfer to any institution worldwide, where there are openings. GEO Group has excellent benefits and also provides a 401K for employees.
Cons
The company does not match your 401K. It is very difficult to get time off and GEO Group does not seem to know or care that people have lives at home. It is also very difficult for security staff to be able to get breaks, and they receive no lunch time at all. When you work 13 hour days, breaks become very helpful.
