Pros

-One of the best parts of the job is genuinely making a difference in customers' lives. When someone comes in struggling with pain and leaves feeling better, it’s gratifying. If you're skilled at building trust and closing sales, there’s solid earning potential. -The commission system rewards top performers, and the pay can be quite competitive for those who consistently sell well. -Unlike big-box retail, the store teams are smaller, which can lead to a more personal and team-oriented work culture.

Cons

-While the commission system is a benefit, it also means there’s significant pressure to close sales. If you're not performing well, it can be stressful, especially since the company expects high conversion rates. Most salespeople know what they are getting into. -While structure is helpful, it can also feel rigid. Some flexibility in how sales are approached could improve employee and customer experiences. -Encouraging customer ownership of the product is key, but some still expect instant relief. Managing expectations and handling occasional product returns can be frustrating.

Pros

The Good Feet Store is an amazing company, that really cares for and values their employees. Senior leadership and the administrative team are always there to support the staff and provide us with all of the tools that are necessary to succeed. There is also great opportunity for growth within the company. I have been with the Good Feet Store for just 5 years, starting as a Sales Consultant and working my way up the chain to being the District Manager. Everyone that i work with are great and always willing to help where needed. Unlike some other companies, there are no office politics. I have been in sales for 15 years, in various industries and this is by far the most rewarding product i have ever sold. Another great thing is that we are open bankers hours, 10-6 m-f and 12-4 sun. Great. Base pay of 31K, with a wonderful commission and bonus structure, that gives you the opportunity to atleast double that, or more. Overall this is a wonderful company to work for and i will be here for as long as im able to be.

Cons

Not many cons to be honest. This is retail sales, so depending on the person this can be a con. Again, you are given every tool you need to succeed, but at the end of the day, its still sales and you have to put in the work. Another thing that could be a con is having mandatory weekends. but they are short hours on sunday and out by 6 on saturday.

Pros

Working at The Good Feet Store for the past four years has been a very rewarding experience, especially in my role as a multi store manager. One of the things I appreciate most is the strong opportunity for growth within the company, which has allowed me to develop both professionally and personally. My team and upper management are incredibly supportive, creating an environment where employees feel valued and motivated. The company genuinely cares about its staff and consistently checks in to ensure everyone is doing well. In addition, the compensation is good, and the training program is thorough and inclusive, making sure that no one feels left behind. Overall, it is a positive and encouraging workplace

Cons

It’s mandatory to work on weekends
