Pros

Hybrid work, Decent benefits. Coworkers were friendly and eager to lend a helping hand.

Cons

The base pay was poor, negotiated and received a sign-on bonus, which was nice but didn't make up for the fact that I was underpaid to begin with. Onboarding wasn't great, had to learn on the job. tough for someone who's never worked in the industry before to get up to speed. The companies' move from remote to hybrid work schedule could've been handled better. Most of my meetings continued to be done through video calls, regardless of where I was working. The annual pay raise and bonus was disappointing, considering how little I was being paid and the great work I turned in for the year, I was expecting more. Although we were a hybrid office, work/life balance was non-existent. High workload and unfair expectations led to a lot anxiety and stress. Had to wait three months after year end to get my annual performance review. Tech was outdated and poorly managed. Overall, this was a pretty mediocre experience. Unless you're really looking to get into the insurance industry, I'd consider looking elsewhere for employment.

Pros

Good work/life balance. Manageable workload. Clear expectations.

Cons

Payment structure could be better, but the same could be said for most carriers.
