unclear communications at all leadership levels no org chart stability poor role definition - no job description no accountability for colleagues, especially if remote (may never join meetings and still get a raise because manager isn’t in attendance) very little transparency especially if remote (won’t know why your work is being deprioritized or changed, or why an urgent effort appears from nowhere) leaders either can’t or won’t use the digital tools they bring in, so many extra meetings on top of updating a “source of truth” no project management discipline, meaning no clear ownership over the definition or execution
