Pros
The job is simple, quote auto and home all day for prospects 50+, but the people in training are horrible and make it a stressful environment. Previously, I had to quote 5+ products for other companies; which I didn’t mind and would rather that then deal with The Hartford’s business model.
Cons
Too much micromanagement. The training really sucks and when you ask questions to try to understand they make you feel stupid. The trainers are really mean and lack professionalism. The company’s quoting style is a little odd and I feel that it’s meant to discriminate against certain groups that shop around. Anything a customer says is a referral for decline especially if they have a disability.
