Pros
They pay pretty well compared to other early learning centers!
Cons
The favoritism that management shows is deeply concerning. Their favorite employees are shown priority 9 times out of ten when it comes to call outs or time off, along with concerns being addressed and support being given within the classrooms. There have been times when my coworkers have called management from a classroom to provide support with unmanageable behaviors and they either don’t show up or take 20 to 30 minutes to help out. The most help management is willing to offer is taking the child who is activity presenting concerning and or unmanageable behaviors up front to color, eat snacks, or watch bubbles and friends on the iPad, further encouraging the behavior. I’ve seen this happen countless times and there are never any behavioral intervention plans put into place to help the child have a better opportunity to succeed in the classroom or help the teachers better manage and support the children who need it. What I have seen is blame being put onto the teachers saying they aren’t trying hard enough. It’s genuinely so disheartening seeing the lack of support, or empathy, management has towards their teachers.
