Pros
Age-appropriate curriculum that includes all areas of development. Centers are kept clean, are well lit, organized. Pay compared to other centers is good. Bonuses are given for teacher of the month, classroom of the month, bulletin board of the month, teacher of the season, and teacher of the year.
Cons
Tuition is high and keeps potential families from enrolling when there's less expensive mom and pop centers nearby. Low-enrollments= teachers having to take on the roll of cleaners (maids). Take garbage to the dumpster, mop floors, vacuum, dust, do the laundry. It also means that classrooms from infants to preschool are constantly being combined or shuffled around, hours get cut, and lots of teacher turnover. Not all TLE centers are run the same in terms of training, bonuses, and benefits. I worked at one TLE that shut down/closed due to low enrollments after a 30-day notice. Transferred to another TLE, and 5 months in, it's also closing due to low enrollments! It makes working for this company ivery discouraging and takes away any trust had for the company as a whole.
