Pros

He estado trabajando en The Nature Conservancy en tiempo completo por un corto periodo por lo que no conozco tan profundamente a la organización. - It is a globally recognized organization that has a strong support structure for all units, which means an advantage for small business units, like the one I work for. - The agenda has excellent initiatives that motivate me to add ideas and achieve results that collaborate with the construction of a better world, where we strive to conserve nature and improve the quality of life of communities that depend directly on it. - The people who work in the organization have a high professional level, are friendly, cooperative, comprehensive and purposeful, is wonderful work with them. - The benefits are very good - The options to take courses, make exchanges, access other job positions, among others, represent a great opportunity to grow professionally

Cons

- The pay could be better (considering the wild rates in similar organizations and the economic situation of this country - inflation). - The onboarding process is long, there are too many things to learn in a very short time.

Pros

Some incredibly kind, smart, and passionate employees. Above average pay for a non-profit (could be better), fulfilling mission, great benefits (healthcare, PTO, 8% 401k match)

Cons

The higher up you go in the org, the worse it gets. Executive leadership is abysmal and they completely eroded trust in their ability to lead. Most of the C-suite needs to be replaced with people with higher EQ. Marketing in particular has an extremely toxic corporate culture that’s become immensely worse in the past 3-5 years. Layoffs were never a common occurrence, but in the last couple years, they happen with no rhyme or reason and those exact roles that were eliminated are seemingly reposted just mere weeks after folks are pushed out. Beware of what team you’re joining. It’s a mixed bag. Some amazing teams with incredible leadership, and some not.
