Management really needs to make some changes - Level II Teacher The New England Center for Children Employee Review

Thank you for including comments in the Advice to Management section. We always want to look forward and make improvements, and one of the ways to do that is to solicit feedback and incorporate constructive feedback. Each year we conduct an organization-wide survey, and up to four times per year we solicit supervisor feedback from departments and teams, as well as feedback on the performance of assistant directors. Earlier this year, we formed an internal Communications Committee that conducted a communications survey to dig deeper into understanding communication gaps. We brought in teachers to talk with the Communications Committee about specific improvements that would benefit their teams. As you can imagine, in a large organization with 1,200 people, each person has a preference for how they would like to receive information. However, our confidential staff survey shows positive marks on our company-wide communication progress. We continue to work with departments and teams to assist in improving their communications, and to be sure information is provided to the right people, at the right time, to best support their particular work environment. - Cathy Welch
