Pros

Casual work environment, flexible hours.

Cons

Low pay, little to no benefits, questionable business practices. Due to the low pay, the employees have very little experience both in business and with the clientele which leads to huge problems. Operates on the cheap with regards to everything.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your concern, and compensation is so important to our company; that is by far our biggest expense. The average hourly rate in our company is currently $19.47. Since this is the average there are naturally trainers who make less than this and trainers who make more than this. Many trainers that are on the lower side of the $19.47 average tend to be in certification, which even though the hourly pay for certification is the current minimum wage rate, this is MUCH better than having to pay to get certified like you do with other personal training companies. Furthermore, our compensation is right in line with entry level pay for personal training companies around the country. We want our employees to succeed so our Professional Mastery Program is full of educational materials to make our trainers more knowledgeable and in turn be able to help more people! We believe in rewarding and recognizing our employees for their growth and achievements so this program is only one of many ways to earn bonuses while at the same time becoming a better trainer! There is no cap on how many levels you can advance in this program so opportunities are endless. Other incentives include: Staff Referrals, Client Referrals, and Nutrition Coaching opportunities.

Pros

I've had multiple training jobs over the last five years and I've never felt more supported than I do at TPW. I felt very welcomed from the beginning and the company has an incredible culture where you really feel like you are a part of something. The pay structure also rewards employees for going above and beyond. Whether you are a seasoned trainer or new to the industry TPW will help get you up to speed with all the equipment and technology that goes along with super slow training and set you up for success.

Cons

Vacation days and time off has to be planned in advance.

Pros

I've had a great experience working at The Perfect Workout. One of the things I appreciate most is the supportive management team. They're approachable, genuinely care about employee success, and are always willing to answer questions or provide guidance when needed. The flexible scheduling has been a huge benefit and makes it much easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The company also does an excellent job with on-the-job training. Whether you're new to the industry or looking to build your skills, they provide the resources and coaching needed to feel confident and continue growing. The work environment is another standout. Everyone is respectful, encouraging, and works together as a team. It's a positive atmosphere where employees support one another, and that makes coming to work enjoyable. Overall, The Perfect Workout is a great place for anyone looking to grow professionally while working alongside people who truly care about delivering a great experience for clients.

Cons

No significant downsides in my experience.
