Pros
I have worked for the company for 2 years now and it has been an overall great experience. I started as a Photo Production Assistant and have been promoted twice in two years. The pay is really good, we have free shuttle service from the train station which is a really big help. We also have an awesome lunch program . We have two restaurants come to our building three days a week and the food is awesome- the company pays for most of it and the employees pay between $4-$6 dollars and we got really good portions. I have had a good experience with my management team, they have always taken the time to listen and give me guidance when needed. I have also had a good experience with HR. I had an issue that needed to put me out of work for a botu two weeks and they were super understanding, helped me work through it with my Manager and I was able to be paid during that time. I also have the opportunity now to be promoted again. I worked at other places for longer and never got a chance to be promoted or make more. We also get bonuses based on our quota achievement and I have made quite a bit form the bonus program which they started last year. I love working here and get a chance to do what I love to do- fashion and photography!
Cons
There is no perfect place to work trust me it doesn't exist so yes there are things that the company can work on but that is true for everywhere. I wish we had a better time off program- we get about 3 -4 weeks off a year but you have to wait til you have it to take it and sometimes that's hard for some people to be able to take sick time with pay. I have been here longer so I have been able to carry over my time but when people first start it is really hard for them. Also sometimes during the year we have to work Saturdays or Sundays and we need to stay until all the work is done which is really hard when you are trying to make plans and then you find out last minute you have to stay. It would be better if there is some way to know and if it was volunteer to stay and not mandatory.
